You can professionalized your IE7 using IE7Pro add-on. IE7Pro is an add-on for Internet Explorer 7 which adds lots of features and extras that make your IE easier, more useful, more secure and more customizable. IE7Pro doesn’t make any changes on the looks of Internet Explorer. This add-on will include some functions in your Internet Explorer browser that by default already has in Firefox browser. So is IE still behind Firefox? It’s an argument that would go on forever!
Like I said before, I use both browsers because some page loads better in Firefox and some in IE7. So I constantly find ways to improve my Firefox and IE browser. IE7Pro is FREE and the installation setup is only 520KB in size. After installation, you’ll find IE7Pro settings at Tools -> IE7pro Preferences. There might be a small icon on the top right of your Internet Explorer browser.

Clicking on the icon also brings up the IE7Pro settings.
One of the default feature I like in Firefox is crash recovery. Let’s say your browser suddenly hung because of one stupid website and you need to end the process. When you start back the Firefox browser, you’ll loose all the page you were viewing. Crash recovery enables gives you the option to bring back all the tabs and windows you were viewing. That’s handy! Now you can have that in your Internet Explorer with IE7Pro. When you reopen Internet Explorer after crashing, it will prompt if you want to restore your last session.

You can also spoof your User-Agent so that websites wouldn’t know the actual browser you’re using. Another very good option for people who like anonymity is proxy. You can enter a proxy address and then press CTRL+F9 to toggle it on or off. I think they can improvise it by entering a list of proxies instead of only 1 proxy address.
If you have a fast connection, you can improve the speed of loading the page by setting the maximum connections per server. This determines the number of parts of a webpage (i.e. images, HTML) that IE will download at once. The default is four; if you have a fast connection then setting it to 10 (or possibly higher) may speed up page load times.
It has a lot of other nice features which might be helpful to you. Do check it out!
