After Team Paradox has figured out with the idea of using OEM BIOS Emulation to crack Windows Vista, a lot of people has made an effort to improve and simplify the cracking process. CLoNY did an excellent job in making the whole cracking process a “setup”. Just install and it will automatically crack for you. However, it did not give you any selection or choices during the cracking process.

After 2 days, STRO has created a newer Vista Activator version 2.1.2.0.6 BETA. It has much more functions compared to 2.1.0.2.

Version 2.1.2.0.5 added NEC and SONY BIOS manufacturer. It also has a built-in external Product ID Checker.

I installed Windows Vista without entering a product key during installation. Used the cracked and it turned my Windows Vista into a licensed Windows Vista Ultimate! I wonder how is Microsoft going to fight back on this cracking method? Maybe they’ll release a KB929391 update on Windows Update? I really don’t encourage the use of Windows Vista cracks because one day Microsoft will find a way to make this crack unusable and your system might be unbootable. It’ll be a lot more trouble to make your computer bootable again…
